Brian Baker on Cierras Bold in Gold

Congratulations to Brian Baker and Lucy (Cierras Bold In Gold) on their outstanding performances at the 2008 Southern Belle Invitation. Brian & Lucy placed 8th overall in the $100,000 3 Year Old Western Pleasure, but were a clear crowd favorite.

To finish up the show Brian & Lucy won the $25,000 3 Year Old Western Pleasure Color Breed Slot Class placing first under all 4 judges.

Gail had a wonderful 2008 Tom Powers with Millie, her 2007 Filly out of Good Huh. Exhibiting in 3 Western Longe Line classes with the following results.

2nd in the Non-Pro Longe Line
3rd in the Open Longe Line
2nd in the Breeders/Limited
4th in the Breeders/Open

Cierras Bold in Gold (Lucy) was exhibited by Brian Baker in Open and Lisa Beth (Waters) Cooper in Non-Pro western pleasure classes at the 2008 Tom Powers.

Lucy & Brian Baker were the Reserve Champions in the Open Color Breed Western Pleasure class. With Lisa Beth riding, Lucy was Fourth in the Novice Horse Novice Rider Western Pleasure.

Watch for Brian and Lucy at the Southern Belle futurity!
 



Maker a Kool Krymsun ("Jackie") made WQH proud in her first class as a 2 Year Old. Justin Mullins showed Jackie in the Breeders 2 Year Old Western Pleasure Class at the Tom Powers Futurity. Justin & Jackie placed 8th in the Open and won for the Novice Rider!

Congrats Justin! Wear that buckle proud!

Cierras Bold in Gold (Lucy) and Brian Baker had awesome go's at the 2007 All American Quarter Horse Congress in the GMC 2 Year Old Western Pleasure class and ended up being finalists.

Watch for this awesome pair in 3 Year Old Western Pleasure classes in the 2008 show season!

 

 






No Doubt Im Lazy ("Ace") and Gil Galyean had two outstanding go's in the Western Longe Line class at the 2007 All American Quarter Horse Congress, and ended up with a Top 5 for the trophy case!

Watch for "Ace" throughout the 2008 show season with
Brian Baker in 2 Year Old Western Pleasure futurity classes.

Congratulations to "Ace" (No Doubt Im Lazy - by Lazy Loper) on bringing home two more Championships from the Double Your Pleasure Futurity in Canada in September. Winning  both the Open Longe Line with Bill Rinzema and the Non-Pro Longe Line with Gail Waters made the long trip very worth the while!
 


Maker a Kool Krymsun ("Jackie") had an excellent showing at the Southern Ohio Futurity in the Longe Line classes. Shown by Gail Waters, Jackie placed first in the Non-Pro and Second in the Open Longe Line Classes.

The Tom Powers Triple Challenge Futurity results are in, and Waters Quarter Horses had outstanding performances at this prestigious event.

No Doubt Im Lazy ("Ace" - a stud colt by Lazy Loper), shown by Mike Tivoli, was the Open Longe Line Futurity Champion. First under three of the four judges!

Ace was also presented in the Non-Pro Longe Line class by Gail Waters and placed 3rd.

Congratulations Gail! All of your hard work on this baby has paid off! Also a special thanks to Mike Tivoli for taking on this colt on a last minute notice.

Watch for "Ace" around the Quarter Horse circuit at Longe Line futurities throughout the year!

Maker a Kool Krymsun & Lisa Beth Breeders Longe Line Open - 10th
Breeders Longe Line Limited - 4th
 

Lisa Beth & Jackie (Maker a Kool Krymsun - a filly by One Hot Krymsun) made their Tom Powers debut in the Breeders Longe Line Open & Limited class on Wednesday June 27th.

They both worked very hard to get here and had an outstanding go! LB & Jackie and ended up 10th place in the Open and 4th in the Limited.



2006 was another successful year for Waters Quarter Horses at the All American Quarter Horse Congress!

Cierras Bold in Gold was presented by Bill Rinzema in the Western Longe Line class and brought home a very respectable 8th place medallion.

A special thanks to Bill Rinzema for taking on this special horse to show, and to his family for being our cheering section. Also a thanks to Lisa Castle for selling us this wonderful filly!

Ready or Not Freddie & Sydnee Barker
Congress Small Fry Horsemanship

 

Congratulations to Sydnee Barker who had an awesome go in the Small Fry Horsemanship at the 2006 All American Quarter Horse Congress! Sydnee rode Freddie (Ready or Not Freddie), a 3 year old gelding out of Flamboyant Fred, who raised at Waters Quarter Horses.



Gail & Lucy (Cierras Bold in Gold) were the unanimous Futurity Champions in both the Non-Pro and the Open Longe Line Classes at the Eastern Ohio Quarter Horse Association Futurity, placing 1st under both judges in both classes.

Lisa Beth & Annie (Just Peaches N Cream) also had a go to be proud of and placed in the Top 10 in the Non-Pro Longe Line.

Also, congratulations to Gail & Lucy (Cierras Bold in Gold) as the Longe Line Champions at the West Virginia Quarter Horse Association's Mountain State Futurity!

At the Tom Powers, Gail & "Lucy" (Cierras Bold in Gold) won 1st Place win in the Yearling Longe Line Non-Pro Color Breed and tied for 4th Place in the Yearling Longe Line Open Color Breed!
